Intensive Writing Workshops–Writathor Air Wing

Start Date: 09/07/2026 | End Date: 05/07/2027

Location: Online (Zoom)

This is the one you’ve heard about! For teens (or teens at heart) this is the intensive, two-hour-a-week workshop on writing and publication that churns out contest winners (eight last year alone) and published authors. Yes, even if you’re a teenager.

Here’s why you should believe that Mr. C can write it, and he can teach it. He’s the principal writer of the Tuttle Twins history books (and much else in that universe), the author of the Trinity Flynn mystery series, and his books have sold over 350,000 copies in the last ten years. He counts three published authors among his former students.

For Teens (broadly defined):

Writelage Squadron (Monday):

Wheels up Monday 2pm Mountain (4pm Eastern)

Author-ities Squadron (Friday):

Wheels up 9am Mountain (11am Eastern)

Classes run September to the first week of May.

Extensive reading of different kinds of stylistic material including short stories, novels, and essays on the art of writing. Students will be expected to write regularly and consistently, and to learn to edit their own and other students’ material.

All students will work together to produce a work for publication over the course of the workshop, and will receive royalties from the sale of the work in perpetuity. As such, this might be the only class a student will take in his life that could pay for itself, not down the road with a job, but right now, with work produced in the class itself.

For adults (again, broadly defined):

Writers of Rohan (Wednesday):

We ride out 6:30pm Mountain (8:30 Eastern)

NEW THIS YEAR!! If you’re like so many adults, you have a book in your head that you’ve never got on paper. Maybe you’ve dabbled, written a few chapters, even, but got bogged down and had to stop as life got in the way. This is your chance. If you sign up for the course and you follow it all the way to the end, completing all the assignments, at the end of the year you’ll have finished the book. Done. Complete. THE END. This is a money-back guarantee. Fiction, non-fiction, does not matter.

Location: We’re online this year! For those in the Utah County, UT or Boise, ID area, there may be onsite classes as well. Link provided after registration.

Cost: $240 a semester or $70/mo
